•Sales Advisors don’t just stand on a car lot waiting for customers here - you’ll reach out to the community and establish relationships. There are so many ways to build great commissions!
•This position is about business smarts, financial problem-solving, and helping people.
•You’ll handle everything from: talking cars, prices, underwriting loans, handling paperwork, arranging details, following up, and helping your fellow Sales Advisors.
•Basically, we’ll count on you to talk cars and finance and provide amazing service. DriveTime Sales Advisors act as ambassadors to our customers, listening to their needs, solving problems, and making sure everyone has a great experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:!

Sales Goals and Strategies!
• Provide guidance and strategic planning for the dealership with respect to sales goals!
• Achieve sales volume and profitability objectives utilizing all sales channels in a continually changing environment!
• Implement and execute all company-wide marketing initiatives so as to maximize their impact and to help meet or exceed sales goals!
• Manage, develop, and implement dealership strategies for increasing sales!
• Identify referral source prospects for dealership, create a strategy to develop relationships with prospects, and monitor and maintain positive referral source relationships!
Customer Service!
• Exhibit a relationship-oriented approach to customers, vendors, and employees!
• Develop and enhance customer relationships by establishing, promoting, maintaining excellent customer service with sales operations!
• Support the GM in identifying community organizations and events appropriate for dealership involvement!
• Actively participate with sales team in community organizations and events to represent and promote a positive image of DriveTime within the community!
Reports!
• Track sales progress and initiate changes as need to meet goals and targets!
• Review dealership and sales performance statistics, including commission and other earnings related reports to ensure accuracy!
• Track, document, and distribute sales prospects!
Finance!
• Underwrite the contract and loan by reviewing the credit application and the credit report, and interviewing the customer!
• Coordinate with the Loan Manager to ensure deals maintain or improve the credit mix within the portfolio!
• Monitor or complete the contract closing to ensure the customer understands terms and conditions of the contract
• Complete employment, residence, and reference verifications
• Review deal jackets to ensure that deals are complete
Other
• Work with dealership management team to ensure that DriveTime policies and procedures are communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
