Working field foreman responsible for all aspects of concrete removal, disposal, rebuild and optical alignment of the foundations for large engines and compressors. This involves extensive travel as each project involves on-site work at the customer’s location.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The nature of the work requires an active working foreman who is also responsible for scheduling, assisting, motivating and overseeing a crew of six to eight men.
Standard Work Week: 6 – 10 Hour Days
Day to day activities include reporting paperwork, ordering and scheduling of materials, supplies, equipment and services in support of the project objective.
Millwright skills along with carpentry and concrete forming are essential. In addition, the use of optical alignment instruments (Brunson 545 Site Level, K&E Site Level, Transit Level) would be a plus.
Good verbal skills necessary to deal with vendors, customers and workers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years in industry involving concrete and/or epoxy grout installation.
Valid driver license, without restriction.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of basic concrete demolition tools: Jack Hammer, Rock Splitter, Rotary Hammer Drill, etc.
Knowledge of basic construction techniques.
