Requirements:

License Requirements:
Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement. (Applicants without the T endorsement must obtain it before attending orientation.) Class B Drivers with 6 months OTR experience may also be qualified.

Experience Requirements:
Applicants must have one year, verifiable over-the-road experience within the past three years, or 2 years OTR experience within the past five.

Violation and Accident Limits:

Applicants must have no more than three traffic violations within the past three years.
Applicants must have no more than one preventable accident within the past three years.

Convictions:
Applicants must not have any criminal convictions, DUIs, DWIs, or drug-related offenses that would prevent crossing the Canadian or Mexican borders.

No Forced Dispatch
Unimark Truck Transport drivers are classified as Independent Contractors. We do not have a forced dispatch and our drivers can run as many or as few miles as they want, within DOT regulations. You control the time at home, because you are an Independent Contractor, and can choose when to take a load or when to stay home, the choice is yours.

Excellent Pay
Settlements range from $.50 to $.65 for single trucks, and $.75 to $1.22 for decked sets. (Rates are for class A drivers, class B drivers' rates may differ.) High Average Miles per Week

No Truck To Own

We have immediate openings for experienced class A drivers for both OTR (10-14 days out) and regional (5-7 days out) for drivers who live within 50 miles of Dallas/Fort Worth.

Each position we have requires a different level of experience. Please read each job carefully, as your experience will determine which job you qualify for:

1. OTR dry van - Requires 2 years of OTR within the last 3 years and at least 8 months of OTR within the last 12 months - excellent position for A-list drivers. You will drive a late model volvo with an APU unit, get benefits within 30 days, 80% drop and hook, and our average driver makes right at $1000 per week

2. OTR - requires 6 months of OTR within the last year and hazmat - starting pay as high as 39 cpm for experienced drivers with hazmat

3. OTR reefer - requires at least least 1 year of OTR within the last 3 years and at least some reefer experience in the past - Western 16 states - You could be out 3 weeks at a time - this is a good position, however, for someone who hasn't driven OTR within the last year or two and is having trouble qualifying at other companies

4. Regional reefer for company drivers and owner operators - run midwest to south with no northeast - be out 5-7 days at at time - must have very clean driving record and no more than three driving jobs in the past 3 years - must have 6 months OTR within the last 12 months

Every one of these positions requires that drivers have no more than 2 moving violations and one minor incident within the past 3 years, no terminations within the past three years from any employment, and no felonies ever. You can have one DWI outside of 7 years and one misdemeanor outside of 7 years for most positions.

Entry-Level Semi-Trailer Mechanic (Ft Worth, TX)

MAALT Transport is seeking an entry-level semi-trailer mechanic to work in the Ft. Worth, Texas, yard, to diagnose and repair all systems on a semi-trailer to meet minimum DOT standards. Will train to develop and enhance skills for successful execution of normal duties including: Repair brakes, suspension, lighting, electrical and the structural components of the units. Knowledge and use of hand tools from simple wrenches required; pneumatic experience a plus. Must have own set of tools. Valid driver license with acceptable driving record required. Class A CDL preferred; if not currently licensed, must be able to obtain license. Mechanics are required to safely drive semi-combination units into and out of shop areas and have the ability to road test repairs when required.
Other minimum requirements:
21 years of age, able to pass a DOT physical, and DOT drug screen. Physically must be able to sit, lie down, climb, creep, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and lift as necessary to perform duties associated with inspecting and repairing bulk tank truck trailers.
