Every day, somewhere in the USA, a child loses a parent to war or terminal illness, drunken drivers, and other sudden catastrophes. Due to no fault of their own, these children lose the love and support of the people who have the most meaning in their lives. In most cases, this means they also lose all opportunity for a better life, from lack of financial security.

The Robbins Family Foundation is a charitable non-profit organization, providing scholarships, and other benefits, for American children who have lost a parent, due to wars or illness. We formed the R.F.F.to raise awareness of the issues and needs of the American children who have parents suddenly vanish from their lives. While this is not an issue only for American children, we feel the best place to start is by helping those in our own backyard.

It is our wish to sponsor as many qualifying kids as possible for college scholarships. Also, plans for summer camps for younger children are now in the formative stages.

Each year, we endeavor to get at least one qualified applicant through the university of their choice. We are seeking to raise awareness of our purpose, as well as seeking donations to help this foundation grow.

StudioPLUS denies disabled vet & Service Dog Access (Arlington)

I attempted to check in after making (and prepaying for) 3 nights over the pc, they attempted to charge me a 75.00non refundable fee for my hearing disability dog, whom is vested in very bright orange, with patches from the company whom trained us to work together.

The man at the desk then gave me a hard time, claiming they charged for all pets, refused to accept the difference between a service dog (even a guide dog! he said was a pet), and a pet dog.

Being as their corporate offices were closed, I charged back the fee on my card, and left as Arlington PD reported a 1-2 hour wait for a police officer to arrive. I plan to pursue this matter to all legal extents with ADA, and their corporate office on Monday. However I thought I would let everyone know that the Studio Plus in Arlington 2400 W. Lamar Blvd is discriminating against people with disabilities.

You ignored him the whole time while he screamed, ran around the store and threw a tantrum (no tears mind you) and drove everyone else nuts. Take him outside and spank his little hiney. On the hiney note, what is it that you teach this child that makes him pull his pants down to his ankles and run down the shopping strip half naked? He must not have gotten what he wanted because he was still screaming while half naked in public. Kudos for not giving in to him but he sure could have used a good spanking at that very moment. . . not later when he forgot why he was being punished.

The U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued regulations in 1999 to protect storm water quality in small cities and urbanized areas. In Texas, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) was delegated the responsibility for implementing the regulations, commonly called the Phase II Storm Water Program. The City of The Colony is one of several hundred cities, counties, and other public entities required to develop a program to protect storm water quality under Phase II regulations.

The purpose of the Phase II storm water program is to improve water quality in streams and lakes by controlling the runoff of pollutants from construction sites and developed property. Pollutants include sediment from soil erosion, nutrients from fertilizers, chemicals from the treatment of lawns, garbage and floatables from parking lots and streets, and the discharge of industrial pollutants.

EPA regulations require that best management practices (BMPs) be implemented over the next five-years to address six minimum control measures that will improve storm water quality. The minimum control measures are public education and outreach, public participation and involvement, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site runoff control, post-construction runoff control, and pollution prevention and good housekeeping at municipal facilities. Measurable goals must be identified for the BMPs and progress on each must be reported annually to TCEQ.

TCEQ finalized the Phase II permit on August 18, 2007. To qualify for the permit, The Colony submitted a Storm Water Management Plan and permit application to TCEQ and was issued permit number �TXR040077� under this program. This plan included BMPs that will be implemented by the City over the next five-years to reduce storm water pollution to the "maximum extent practicable," as EPA regulations require.

Saint Mary�s Romanian Orthodox Church is pleased to announce the 4th Edition of the Romanian Food Festival, November 6th-8th 2009, a unique opportunity for Dallas Fort Worth locals to savor the exotic flavors of Eastern Europe, right in their backyard.

Festival highlights include ethnic foods, traditional costumes and live entertainment. The Romanian cuisine is diverse, rich and tasty, with a unique character, despite its strong Balkan, German and Hungarian influence in the past.
This year at the Romanian Food Festival in Colleyville, homemade delicacies, including �sarmale�- cabbage rolls, "ciorba de perisoare" � meatball soup, �ciorba de burta� � truth-or-dare soup, �mititei�- traditional skinless sausages, pastrami, polenta with feta cheese and sour cream, sweet pastries and many other mouth-watering foods are on the menu, promising a gastronomic delight.

The festival begins on Friday, November 6th at 5 pm until 10 pm and continues Saturday November 7th from 10am to 10pm. Sunday November 8th the event opens at 12 am and ends at 7:30 pm.

There will be many attractions for visitors of all ages: church guided tours, indoor icon and painting exhibits, movie presentation, live dancing, music and gymnastics shows. A Federal Courthouse in Texas is handling a lawsuit involving one of the largest YMCAs' in the nation. The lawsuit involving a man with over 8 years tenure with the YMCA has surfaced in which a very large and prosperous YMCA has reportedly been involved in multiple unethical and seemingly even illegal activities. Just a short-list of possible misdeeds may include discrimination against men and blacks, unpaid overtime wages and perjury. The script is an amazing amalgam of the worst of behaviors, especially for a non-profit organization bearing a christian name. The man involved seems to have a good reputation with those who know him in the community, and has somehow pitted himself, like David versus Goliath, against the YMCA and their premiere legal counsel, daring to stand on what he regards the simple facts and his integrity.
Another interesting factor is a link involving Prairie View A&M University, a school with a mostly black student body. The Plaintiff in this case apparently had formerly hired numerous Prairie View A&M students to work at state-licensed cafterschool childcare centers; and, these seem to be at least some of the persons whom the Plaintiff alleges he was illegally told to refrain from hiring, even after having met with local ISD officials and the mayor of Prairie View in an attempt to gain geater collaborations in that area and with Prairie View student staffing and even the possibility of the utilization of Prairie View A&M facilities. The YMCA in particular that this case involves, however, is situated in a very upscale, traditionally "white" neighborhood. I'm just glad that even though they were friends, they never "PERUSED" it.. Shes had it "THOUGH" and worked in a "HOSTEL" work environment. Even if gallstones apparently hurt like giving birth and reoccurring, make sure that giving birth doesn't reoccur. There is no wonder her boyfriend got fired from his construction job. He was probably worn out from working all day and then going home and cleaning house and cooking dinner every night. And yes, he probably is a damn good waiter, hell he waits on her all the time. He gets plenty of practice. Right now there just barley making it, so any donation is appricaited., and if you donut, you are invited to the wedding!!

I am not the one who has these shower pictures.
But, from reading all your comments about Cuban
you seem to really enjoy protecting him alot while

Dear Deadbeat Bride,

I have to say a couple things here because I think what you're doing is despicable. If you are, in fact, some down on her luck single mom, and not some scammer, why are you whining when you already have the things you claim are important? You have a healthy child, a guy who "loves loves" you, and a happy relationship. Do you realize that what you're begging for is a party, not a marriage? Since when did a fancy wedding become an inalienable right in this country? And when did people who couldn't afford it become pitiable enough for charity? My wife and I couldn't afford a big wedding either, we had it in our back yard, I catered, our friend DJed, and most importantly we did it without parading how pathetic our situation was.

The thing that really sends my lie detector into screaming fits is the part about your supposed job. The question that comes rushing to my mind is what's the other side of the story. I'm not saying you're lying, but it seems that way. If someone threatened you and threw things at you, wouldn't let you go to the bathroom, etc. etc. why didn't you call the police? Those are criminal charges, ergo doing the right thing is trying to stop if from happening to others, not trying to squeeze a few dollars out of it. In all likelihood you probably did dress like a slut, and they wanted you to be more professional. I have a hard time believing your situation was near as bad as you describe.

I won't waste my breath too much about doing the right thing, it's fairly obvious that you don't have a good grasp on what that is, if you did you would be asking people to donate to a legitimate charity of some kind, not to the "I wish I could have a party fund".
