Rusty Scruby has a background in aerospace engineering and music composition in addition to creating art. His photographic reconstruction art, seen here, is also based on math. By cutting up and reassembling photographs and drawings, once-clear images become distorted through a systematic process to produce optical rhythms conferring visual harmony -- I copied that from a source who knows such stuff.
This work titled 'Sunset Saguaro' was created in 2012 and measures H18.5" x W14". The frame size is H23.75" x W19". It is in its original 2" thick gallery shadow box and is in excellent condition.
Rusty Scruby's work has been exhibited both nationally and abroad, including: Houston (where this work was purchased at the well-known McMurtrey Gallery), Dallas, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami, and Seoul, South Korea.
