I have for sale a totally remanufactured long block engine. It has been redone by an ASE certified master engine machinist with the following brand new parts.

New Oversize pistons
New Oversize piston rings
New main bearings
New connecting rod bearings
New seamless camshaft bearings
New oil pump
New 3 piece timing chain set
New BRASS freeze plugs set
New MARINE camshaft
Full engine gasket set
16 New Flat Tappet Lifters


We start with a well seasoned long block engine core.

Disassemble it completely and put all the parts in a parts washing cabinet with hot water and soap at 180 degrees.

Magnaflux to look for invisible hair line cracks on the engine block, cylinder heads, crankshaft and all 8 connecting rods.

Remachine the connecting rods back to OEM specs.

Regrind the crankshaft to 10/10 in most cases.

The engine block gets bored to oversize to fit the new OVERSIZE pistons and rings and them is given a 2 stage plateau honing to maximize rings sealing and seating

The cylinder heads get completely remanufactured starting with a complete glass beading bath to remove all of the contaminants like dry carbon, dirt, rust etc. After it is checked for cracks all of the valve guides will be drilled out and replaced with new thin wall bronze guide liners which will last 3x better than original cast iron valve guides.
Next the valve seats will get a 3 angle cut for better air and fuel flow.
The valves will be cleaned, glass beaded, polished and then ground on a Kwik Way valve grinding machine.
New Viton valve stem seals will be installed, and the valve springs will be tested before they are out back together.
The cylinder heads then get put together with a complete vacuum test on every single valve to valve seat surface to assure 100% sealing for good compression once engine is running.

The engine block gets a final wash to remove any residue of honing oil and/or grinding from the machining process. Then we install new Camshaft Bearings.
After remachining and cleaning the crankshaft it gets fitted in the engine block with brand new oversize bearings, pistons get burnt into the connecting rods and ready for assembly, cylinder heads get torqued on the engine block and then we do a cold lash adjustment. A final oil pressure test gets done and engine is ready for oil pan, timing cover valve covers and accessories and ready to be put back into the vehicle

12 months warranty. Our price is $3295 with a rebuildable exchange.
