Do you have professional experience managing the complex personal logistics and daily operations for a private family?

uTest is looking for experienced professionals to participate in a multi-day hybrid research study focused on the future of household management. This project explores how modern families organize daily life, and your expertise will help shape the next generation of household tools.

Study Overview

This project uses a hybrid approach, combining remote data collection with in-home onsite fieldwork. The study includes introductory sessions, a three-day support phase, and a final wrap-up interview.

• Project Type: Multi-Day Hybrid UX Study
• Start Date: January 2026
• Commitment: Initial orientation, followed by a 3-day phase with potential shifts between 7 AM and 8 PM.
• Compensation: $250 for the initial stage (5 hours). Based on project needs and performance in the initial activities, additional participation and compensation will be determined. For highly experienced candidates or extended phases, final rates can be discussed, taking into account their professional background and the project's requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

This study focuses on non-physical, administrative support and the documentation of those processes. Your role involves:

• Orientation & Onboarding: An initial session to meet a family, assess their dynamics, and align on their specific household needs.
• Active Support & Observation: Several days of providing professional administrative support while observing the family’s daily life.
• Detailed Logging: Keeping thorough study notes and activity logs to document your tasks, logic, and professional insights throughout the project.
• Final Interview: A 60–90 minute wrap-up interview to share your expert feedback on the processes and tools used.

Note: Sessions may be recorded for reference and research purposes.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with professional experience in:

• Private Household Environment: Experience working directly with private families and understanding their unique administrative needs
• Family Coordination: Proficiency in managing logistics, travel, and calendars for multiple family members.
• Note: This role is specifically designed for those who specialize in dedicated household management. It may not be the best fit for those whose primary background is in corporate-only environments, hospitality management, or manual domestic services.
