She was originally bought new by a friends grand father, who passed it down through the family to his grandson (who’s now a grandfather in his late 50’s) who passed it down to his daughter.. who’s name is get this.. *SCOUT*!!! couldn’t make this up if I tried
She’s been in a garage here in Northern California since the 1990’s until her recent resurrection !! (Oh yea!! 😃)
Prior to that she was originally bought just to tow the family fishing boat! Then later used as the errand vehicle for trips to the post office grocery store etc
Considering she’s half a century plus years old she’s not a spring chicken but I think she’s got a lot of ZEST to be lived! She’s been meticulously gone through to make sure she’s a turn key daily driver to live out her days like the cream puff she is or ready to be modified to the new parents specs.
The attention to detail and the love poured into this truck has been therapeutic as a scout enthusiast!! but alas she’s now road worthy and I have other priorities so she’s ready for a new heart to carry the torch..
