So I traded my gelding to a lady who was looking for a forever horse, she traded me a pregnant mare. She was going to train the mare but her stud got out and bred her so she ended up just deciding to trade. I really liked the mare and at the time for reasons beyond my control I needed to rehome my gelding. Or at least find him a new place to live temporarily.
She was supposed to call me if she couldn’t keep him or wanted her mare back, or he just wasn’t working out.
She dumped him in a killpen. I put up search posts for him and a rescue responded to me with photos of him and told me they rehomed him in December of 2025. I asked them to give the new owner my contact info and they are absolutely refusing to.
I want my gelding back. At the very least I want to make sure he’s in a good home if they refuse to let me buy him back.
Some facts about him:
-11 to 12yrs old
-14.2 hands (roughly)
-Has a single spot on his right side that with his base coat looks like a Texas longhorn
-GRADE
He may be seen anywhere from Hunter/jumper to barrel racing to penning or roping. He was trained for jumping and speed events (a previous owner before me trained him to jump, I trained him to do speed events) and he’s cow bred (no papers the breeder found one of my search posts)
I put my soul into this horse and it broke my heart to have to find him a new home but it SHATTERED me when I found out he got dumped. I’m begging anyone who knows where he might be to please contact me.
The rescue that had him last is in Kemp TX, from there I have no idea where he went.
