Patient Accounts Receivable - 15 openings Start ASAP (Dallas)

Type: Contract, could extend, we anticipate a minimum of 90 days

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift…..fully in-office (remote not allowed)

Responsibilities:
1. Identify problem accounts with payors; investigate and correct error, follow-up on missing account information, and resolve past-due accounts.
2. Call and communicate with patients via the phone.
3. Research inquiries regarding past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
4. Resolve delinquent accounts; prepare payment plans and monitor adherence to plans by guarantor; direct accounts to inside collection department when necessary.
5. Prepare reports to identify and resolve accounts receivable issues.
6. Post data; verify and perform mathematical computations; maintain files.
7. Compose and type routine correspondence, memos, letters, appeals, etc.
8. Work with practices within the organization in getting any necessary or requested documentation for patients, insurance carriers or other areas.
9. Identify patient accounts for collection action when delinquent or when unable to contact patient or guarantor.
10. Process the Account Receivable Report.
11. Initiate contact if there is a delay in responding to statements or claims.
12. May process incoming and outgoing mail.
13. Verify all patient and guarantor demographics are entered correctly when confirming account for refunds team.
14. Enter contact notes related to all communications regarding account including phone, email, letter, spark, TEAMS, and all other methods of communications between patient, guarantor, insurance carrier, practice, and surgeon.
15. Provide the utmost level of customer service to the practice.
16. Perform tasks for other accounts receivable representatives while they are on vacation.
17. Provide support for other team personnel during periods of high activity.

Required Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. 1 to 3 years of Healthcare based AR experience required.
3. Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
4. Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
5. High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
6. Attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills.


Special Requirements:

1. Working in the office is an essential job function.
2. Physical requirements include sitting, stooping, turning, standing, bending, walking, hearing, reading, writing and keyboarding, may lift up to 25 lbs.
3. Ability to sit behind a desk approximately 80% of the workday required.

These positions are estimated to be a 90 day contract with possiblity of extending another 90 days.
