Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) helps people with brain injury find hope, independence and a meaningful life - and you can play a key role in that journey as a Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant assists with passing of medications to the patients, and other related duties as delegated. The MA will communicates with staff nurses during week and may communicate with on-call nurse when staff nurse not available. Work may be performed at the residential site, clinic, out in the community, or in a home and/or an apartment complex which may have two stories; if two stories, the top story is accessible by one flight of stairs. Work may vary with the needs of the patient population.
A high degree of accuracy in documentation and observation , adaptability to a variety of situations, along with organizational and communication skills is necessary for this position.
Shifts available: Full-time (doubles) Saturday from 5:30am - 11:30pm & Sunday from 5:30am to 11:30pm or PRN shifts available.
