CNS is an experienced and respected provider of post-acute rehabilitation programs, and offers intensive modified inpatient, outpatient, residential, and assisted living rehabilitation programs for individuals recovering from all types of brain injury. CNS helps people recovering from brain injury find hope, independence and a meaningful life - and you can play a key role.
The nursing staff renders professional nursing care and supervises and supports Neuro Rehabilitation Specialists (NRS) in the administration of patient treatment programs at the residential site pursuant to the objectives and policies of the facility. Must possess excellent assessment skills, self-confidence and be assertive in advocating for good patient care in working independently as a nurse. Must be highly organized and prioritize all nursing and supervisory tasks and procedures in a shift. Work is performed at the residential site. The residential site may be a home and/or an apartment complex which may have two stories; if two stories, the top story is accessible by one flight of stairs.
Available shifts: Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:30pm.
A high degree of accuracy in documentation and observation, adaptability to a variety of situations, strong organizational and communication skills, decision making and an ability to evaluate situations as they occur is needed for this position.
SPECIAL SKILLS UTILIZED, EDUCATION LEVEL, TRAINING
1. Current LVN licensure in state employed is required.
2. Experience in general rehabilitation is preferred.
3. Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and Pro-ACT Certifications.
4. Experience in which potential administrative and supervisory competence has been demonstrated is required.
5. Clear driving record.
