JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of health care professionals and Operation/Office Manager. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Greet patients, visitors.
•Enter patient information with accuracy and update patient information.
•Verify patient information.
•Take patient vital signs and record vitals in medical chart.
•Perform assigned procedures for the comfort and well being of patients.
•Triage calls for physician to include determining emergencies, identifying symptoms, using discretion for walk-in appointments.
•Assisting the clinician during examination
•Perform Electrocardiogram under the direction of clinicians.
•Collection and preparation of lab specimens
•Perform necessary laboratory activities including basic laboratory tests on the premises, and dispose of contaminated supplies.
•Calling and refilling prescriptions to the pharmacy after authorization from the clinician.
•Prepare examination room.
Front office tasks as follows:
•If patients are not eligible to be seen at Primary Care Clinic, be courteous and provide alternate available facilities.
•Help patients with the Patient Assistance Program, Disability Program or any requests for personal medical charts.
•Perform office functions such as composing and typing routine correspondence, maintaining file system, maintaining inventory.
•Report low level inventory of medical and office supplies.
•Answer calls and give information to callers, take necessary messages.
•Maintain a safe, clean and healthy clinic environment.
Locations: We have three clinic locations
