I really like the bridge/tremolo on the PRS guitars. They're sort of a combination of a strat and a floyd rose. Like a floyd because the bridge tilts on a knife edge and like a strat because of the individual saddle adjustment but with a more comfortable design for palm muting. Tunning is perfectly stable with the spring claw tightened until the bridge lays flat against the body. I don't see a need to "upgrade" the tuners.
I listed the year because I think it's relevant. The newer prs guitars are going to be better built than the older ones because of the way Paul Reed Smith set up manufacturing. All import PRS guitars are made in a single factory in Indonesia and they ONLY make prs guitars so the quality has gotten better as they've gained experience. I can't find a single flaw on this guitar. You're welcome to examine it when you come test it out. I've played some real dogs with poor binding that fret out. This is not one of them
