Design Transportation, a Dallas based, Truckload Carrier, is seeking a Driver Recruiter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be able to find, screen and hire qualified truck drivers. They will manage the full hiring cycle from sourcing leads (job boards, social media, referrals) to onboarding new hires, ensuring compliance with the DOT/federal regulations, and matching drivers to company needs for a good fit, focusing on pipeline growth and retention. Key duties include pre-screening, interviewing, managing paperwork, running background checks, and maintaining strong communication with drivers and management. Familiarity with the transportation/logistics industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
> Sourcing & Advertising: Use job boards, social media, industry events and networks to find candidates.
> Screening & Interviewing: Conduct phone screens, interviews and pre-qualifications to assess skills, experience, and fit.
> Compliance: Verify licenses, conduct background/reference checks, and ensure adherence to DOT regulations.
> Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with drivers for future recruitment.
> Reporting: Track hiring metrics, hire statistics, and turnover.

This position is Monday – Friday, in office, 8 hours per day, to start. Potential for hybrid schedule once candidate has completed a successful 90 probationary period.
