Description
Leidos’ Flight Service Program in the Homeland – Air Traffic sector currently has an opening in our Ft Worth TX Flight Service Da Center. This is an exciting opportunity to use your Network Administrion experience to help the Flight Service ongoing mission.
Leidos is seeking an IT Network Administror for our Ft Worth Da Center, responsible for supporting 24x7x365 Flight Service IT Operion in a complex multi-plform environments supporting general aviion pilots safety flight briefings, search and rescue activities, ground to ground communicions, and air to ground communicions systems. Responsible for supporting the deployed Leidos Corpore internal network file servers, desktops, notebooks, printers, etc, installed in the Ft Worth facility.
Responsible for after-hours support, working independently to resolve reported issues, implementing new hardware into production computer rooms, complete activities th can’t be done during first and mid-shifts to minimize risks associed with equipment changes & implementions in active production FFSP operional computer rooms.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, geways, etc. Coordines third-party maintenance for network and office automion equipment and troubleshoots problems with department users and supports network engineers as needed.
Responsible for “Break/Fix” on all Flight Service operional enterprise equipment 24x7x365 and systems as directed by the FFSP Service Desk and reled department Subject Mter Experts. Responsible for all desktop software support within the facility. Must be familiar with all aspects of administering domain resources and processes ensuring secure and viable internal Leidos and FFSP Flight Service deployed operional network and systems.

Required Skills:
Preferred Skills: Microsoft MCSE
Solid background in Desktop/Server/ & Network installion and Support
5+ Years of solid diverse LAN/WAN support to enterprise networks.
Telecom Support – Fiber Pch cables installions within Computer Rooms
CAT5/CAT6 Cable Installion within Computer Rooms and facility large
Deliverables: Weekly Inventory Asset Management Updes
Daily Problem Ticket processing
Work Schedule: Generally M-F, 8 Hour Shift, 40 Hours per week
Must: Be able to support emergency & off Hours Support
Must: Critical Maintenance Window (Scheduled) 10:00pm to
6:00am, M-Th
Must: Critical Maintenance Window (Emergency) 24 x 7, M- S
