Motor Power: Features a 15-amp motor with a speed of 4000 RPM, providing sufficient power for most cutting tasks.
Cutting Capacity: Can cross-cut 2x8 inch lumber at 90 degrees and 2x6 inch lumber at 45 degrees. It can also cut a 4x4 in one shot or a 2x8 without flipping [vid1].
Miter and Bevel Angles: Offers 50-degree miter capacity to the left and right, with a bevel capacity of 48 degrees to the left. It includes an adjustable stainless steel miter detent plate with 11 positive stops for accuracy and productivity.

How to use the DeWalt DW715:
Adjusting Miter Angles: Unlock the lever to turn the saw and lock it into place at desired degrees. The saw has positive stops at common angles, and the handle can be pushed down to lock at any point.
Adjusting Bevel Angles: Loosen a knob to adjust the bevel angle to the left, up to 48 degrees.
Blade Changes: The saw has a keyed blade change system. A button locks the blade for removal or tightening, and the wrench is typically stored on the back of the saw. Note that the blade bolt is reverse-threaded.
Dust Bag Attachment: The dust bag attaches to the back of the saw and has a zipper for emptying.
