We are a premier commercial interior contractor specializing in large-scale retail, healthcare, and industrial builds across the U.S. We are looking for an experienced Traveling Foreman who specializes in light/heavy-gauge steel framing and drywall installation to self perform, and lead our field crews.
This is a full-time, permanent position for a leader who isn't afraid to pick up a screw gun but excels at managing manpower, safety, and material logistics.
Core Responsibilities
Crew Leadership: Direct and mentor a crew of 5–15 framers and hangers.
Blueprint Proficiency: Expert-level ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
Layout Mastery: Take the lead on floor and ceiling layouts, ensuring total accuracy before the first stud goes up.
Production Tracking: Monitor daily production rates to ensure projects stay on or ahead of schedule.
Quality Control: Oversight of plumb, level, and square tolerances and ensuring fire-stopping/acoustical seals meet code.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in commercial steel stud framing (20ga to 12ga) and drywall.
Leadership: At least 2 years in a Foreman or Lead-man role.
Travel: Must be 100% willing to travel for durations of 6-8 weeks at a time.
Tools: Must have a reliable vehicle and your own basic hand/power tools.
We know that being away from home is a big commitment. We take care of our road warriors:
Pay: $1,800 per week
Per Diem: $200 per week tax-free allowance for meals and incidentals.
Lodging: Individual hotel rooms/ vacation rental provided
Travel: Paid flights/mileage and .60 per mile travel compensation
