This role is ideal for a skilled apprentice plumber with 5 or more years of hands-on commercial and/or industrial experience who can confidently work independently while supporting a Journeyman or Lead Plumber. You’ll play a critical role in installions, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality plumbing work while continuing to advance your trade and career.
Work independently or under the direction of a Journeyman or Lead Plumber to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on commercial and industrial job sites.
Perform rough-in, finish, and service work, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
Measure, cut, thread, glue, solder, and braze piping systems including PVC, CPVC, copper, PEX, and cast iron.
Set, connect, test, and troubleshoot plumbing fixtures such as lavories, wer closets, floor drains, carriers, and wer heers.
Hang, support, and pressure-test piping systems in accordance with applicable codes and project specificions.
Read and interpret blueprints, elevions, and isometric drawings; verify layouts and merial takeoffs.
Safely opere and maintain hand and power tools including threaders, bandsaws, and press tools.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety protocols, including PPE, lockout/tagout, ladder and scaffold use, and confined-space procedures.
Document completed work using photos and checklists; assist with site logistics and merial coordinion.
(Service track, when applicable) Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and respond to emergency service calls.
Provide guidance and support to less-experienced apprentices as needed.
Required
5 or more years of commercial and/or industrial plumbing experience.
Strong working knowledge of plumbing codes, industry best practices, and safety standards.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work heights and on ladders, and perform work in hot, cold, outdoor, or confined-space environments.
Proven ability to work independently, follow direction, and collabore effectively as part of a team.
