Original artwork by local artist Bill Cope. Prices range from $100 to $1000. Bill Cope is a life-long artist, born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Skilled across a wide range of graphic media - including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, pastel, and crayon - he specializes in both landscape and portraiture.
From early childhood, Cope drew inspiration from the Renaissance masters, particularly Leonardo da Vinci, and studied chiaroscuro and sfumato through the Mona Lisa. During his school years, he earned several art awards and was granted a scholarship to the Ohio Art Institute before ultimately graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Throughout his adult life, Cope has primarily worked on commissioned pieces, while also contributing to exhibits and book illustrations.
