The Solo 210 aka Hirth F-36 is a 210cc 2-stroke ultralight aircraft engine with a 2:1 reduction unit. Also included is a 42x20 pusher propeller made by Tennessee Propellers and 4 rubber vibration isolator mounts.
The Solo 210 is a single cylinder, two stroke, carbureted aircraft engine designed for use on ultralight aircraft, especially powered paragliders and very light ultralight trikes. The Solo 210 is now known as the Hirth F-36 after the design was purchased by Hirth. The unit is very light, weighing 28 lb (13 kg) including exhaust system, reduction drive, carburetor, and prop. The engine uses free air cooling, a single capacitor discharge ignition, with a single integral pump-type carburetor. Starting is by recoil start. A multi-V belt 2:1 reduction drive system is included. The engine runs on a 50:1 pre-mix of unleaded 93 octane auto fuel and oil and produces 15 hp (11 kW) at 6000 rpm.
