The top is a single piece of Pecan grown in Benbrook, Texas. I haven't counted the rings, but I estimate it to be about 100 years old.
I left the wood in its natural state (no stain) but I protected it with 4 coats of clear polyurethane. The top measures 24 - 26 inches in diameter and is 2-3/4" thick. The table stands 20-1/2 inches tall on black steel legs. The small block of wood at the base is from a local Ash tree.
A slightly larger matching end table is in the works and coming soon. Both pieces are from the same tree.
For your comfort and safety, we meet at the Exchange Zone at the Benbrook Police station for all our trades.
