Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks
• Organize and maintain yard inventory, ensuring all materials are safely stored
• Operate basic equipment such as forklifts, Sky Tracks/Lull, and hand tools (training provided)
• Assist in preparing orders for shipping or delivery
• Perform regular inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
• Assist with general maintenance of the yard, including sweeping, picking up debris, and keeping pathways clear
• Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents promptly
• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a labor or warehouse setting is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate basic yard equipment
• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for long periods
