Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartments for move-in and be in coordination with the manager and lead maintenance technician to ensure that all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to "market ready and ticket runner" status in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in facilities maintenance, electrical work, and customer service, along with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of residential units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting and working with logic controllers.
* Oversee the completion of make-ready tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and general cleaning.
* Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
* Supervise and coordinate work with other maintenance staff or contractors when required.
* Provide exceptional customer service to residents during the make-ready process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for each unit.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout all tasks performed.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Familiarity with residential painting techniques and materials.
* Leadership experience is preferred, with the ability to supervise others effectively.
