The Epson EX7235 Pro Wireless HD WXGA 3LCD Projector ($649.99) is a modestly priced data projector that provides good image quality for both data and video. It comes with a standard Wi-Fi adapter, which is unusual for projectors at its price point.

The EX7235 ($675.33 at Amazon) has 1,280-by-800 native resolution. Its light engine is based on the 3LCD technology developed by Epson, and the light source is rated at 3,000 lumens. The all-black projector measures 3.1 by 11.7 by 9.0 inches (HWD), and weighs 5.3 pounds. It comes with a soft carrying case. Behind the lens are zoom and focus rings, as well as a slider for manual horizontal keystone correction. You can also perform horizontal or vertical keystone correction with the remote control. The 1.2x zoom gives you some flexibility in projector placement.

The EX7235's connectors include a VGA-in port (which doubles as component video, HDMI, which is Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) enabled for projecting from compatible tablets and smartphones, RCA plugs for composite video and audio, and an S-video port. There's also a USB Type B port for USB Plug and Play, which projects what's on your Mac or Windows PC's screen, and a USB Type A port that fits a USB thumb drive or the included Wi-Fi adapter.
