1. Short runs within Texas and occasional neighboring states of Louisiana and Oklahoma (Will keep Truck and driver within 300 miles of Dallas-Fort worth) - Can not guarantee home time daily, but will be off most weekends, except if driver wishes to work. Although Truck will stay within 300 miles but driver should be able to do up to 500miles if necessary on a day. Such as roundtrips to Houston, Oklahoma city or Shreveport LA.
Position 2:
2. Must be able and willing to do at least an average of 550 miles daily on regional runs. (Would prefer running the Truck to the Midwest, upper Midwest or Southern states.
*** But can work with driver on his preferred lane; as long as lane is profitable to both driver and company.
Driver needs to be flexible and accommodating on the changing market zone rates
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years actual verifiable experience and highly skillful in backing and maneuvering tight spaces.
2. Valid Texas active CDL with legal work authorization
3. Driver must have transportation to the yard
4) Must not be on SAP within the last five years.
5) Must have a decent criminal background history (No theft on Record)
6) Must be flexible and open to odd delivery schedules
Other desired requirements:
1. Pre Trip is highly necessary and occasional on trip inspection
2. Should be able to drive skillfully both Manual and automatic transmissions.
3. Sometimes might work as a rescue driver to other drivers who are stuck. will get paid on it.
4. Willingness and ability to do minor maintenance, if necessary (eg fix a wiper blade, change mud flap, change light bulbs, also consistently keep the Truck clean. etc.)
5. Expect driver to leave in Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
