Original owner purchased from Larry Croslin in Santa Fe,NM at the Indian Market Show. Larry is a Native American Cherokee Artist from Muskogee, OK and he is especially known as an expert using the Doubleweave pattern and Miniature Baskets. Each basket is in perfect condition except for the square basket with a lid and it is a delicate grass material showing some wear. Basket nbr 1 Doubleweave, honeysuckle and is 3 in. x 4 in. , Basket nbr. 2 is made of grass,reed, honeysuckle using black walnut and onion dyes, it measures 2 3/4 in. x 2 1/2 in. It has a lid with 4 small pine cones on it. Basket nbr. 3 is Mini Doubleweave of honeysuckle and measures 1 1/4 in. x 1 1/2in.
Basket nbr. 4 is Mini Doubleweave of honeysuckle and is 2 3/4 in. x 2 3/4 in. Basket nbr. 5 Mini Doubleweave, honeysuckle and is
1 1/2 in. x 2 in. Basket nbr. 6 is Mini Doubleweave, honeysuckle 1 3/4in. x 3/4 in. Basket nbr. 7 Mini Square , grass, reed, honeysuckle and a lid with handle. It measures 2 1/4in x 2 in. x 2in. and this basket shows some sign of wear and age. All of the measurements are done with a tape measure to best of my ability. This collection would make a nice gift to someone or yourself!
