Original signed French Impressionist Oil on Canvas Framed Painting. Measures 20x24 inches and 27 x 31 inches framed. Cared for in original familys home for years , purchased from the famous W.T. Burger Co. of Laporte, In. in the 1950's , still in beautiful condition , Artist created about 1950. It has a heavy hand carved wooden matching frame and matted border accent. Signed by the Artist on the lower right corner. The following is a Biography of the Artist by Mark A. Krantz the President and CEO of W..T. Burger Co.:
DeVerde: "He was born in Naples, Italy and studied in Florence, Rome and Paris. He fell in love with Paris and paints the great city in her various moods, Paris at night, Paris at Dusk, Paris in the rain , etc. He uses color very suitable for todays decor, yet does not lose sight of his motif in his quest for modernism.
