We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator II for our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This position is ideal for an experienced machinist who is confident setting up and operating HAAS Vertical Mills and takes pride in producing high-quality precision parts in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills for production runs
• Run HAAS Vertical Mills efficiently and safely
• Load programs, set tool offsets, and make minor adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Monitor machine performance and part quality throughout the run
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Required Qualifications:
• Must have experience setting up CNC Vertical Mills
• Must have experience running HAAS Vertical Mills
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with tight tolerances and quality standards
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues
