Brought back from the brink of being scrapped, this 1958 Ranger is almost ready to go - I've done all the hard work for you, there's just a little bit left and you're golden. I've braced up the transom so well you could probably mount a Mack Truck on it.
It's all set up for bow drive - you just need hook up the control cables and do a little bit of wiring. It needs a rear running light as well.
I've used West Marine G-Flex epoxy to seal up _most_ of the leaks - some water still seeps in, but a little bit of work will fix that. Google search for G-Flex to see how amazing the stuff is.
I bought the motor three years ago from Runner Outboards in Manchester, NH. The guy is an expert two stroke motor guy - he even has all of the test props needed to tune a motor under load in his shop. The motor even has the very, very rare electric start option - very hard to find on a smaller motor like this.
The motor is a short shaft model. It's set up for bow drive, but a throttle handle is not hard to find out there on the market. Also, I _think_ the motor is a 1967, but I can't remember exactly. Unfortunately, I never put the motor in the water - but fortunately for you, it will fire up immediately. And the owner up there guarantees his work.
