Overall Great Condition Solid State Design
130 Watts per channel stereo
Plus separate built-in amplifiers for the surround speakers.
No issues!

Will demo the receiver on a pair of Klipsh RC-7s for the front channels and a pair of Klipsh RB-5's for the surrounds.

SERVICE & REPAIR

- Cleaned all input/output jacks, connectors, switches, potentiometers, and buttons with an electronic cleaner
- Removed top and bottom covers then blew dust from the interior.
- Sprayed front and back of the interior electronic circuit boards with electronic cleaner
- Disassembled front face plate and display board.
- Cleaned all contacts on the front display board
- Reflowed all cold solder joints on the front display board to provide power to the front display panel. The front panel was completely out/black.
- Cleaned and tightened ribbon cable connector and pins on the power supply board to resolve intermittent right channel failure. The right channel was cutting out after several hours of playing.
- Cleaned and tightened connectors and pins from the mainboard to the tuner board to eliminate intermittent hum
- Insulated a chaffed ribbon cable from the secondary side of the power transformer as preventive maintenance
- Cleaned exterior
- Currently using the receiver daily in my office.

SPECIFICATIONS

- A 7-band graphic equalizer also serves as a real-time spectrum analyzer during normal operation.
- 5 equalization curves of the user’s choice can be entered into memory in addition to 5 factory-set curves.
