ActiveReach™
ActiveReach™ forward tilt enables you to reach for more by creating up to 4.5″ of additional reach. This can be used for reaching beyond obstructions, into high cabinets, or even assist in transfers. Truly putting your world within reach. While functional reach and transfers are improved using a seat elevator, many functional tasks are still limited as the chair is positioned sideways to the task at hand or your knees are unable to remain under tabletops. Permobil’s ActiveReach™ pairs with 12″ and 14″ of seat elevation so you can get closer to what matters.
ActiveHeight™
Rise above the status quo with 12″ and 14″ ActiveHeight seat elevator options that help you reach new heights. Featuring three points of contact and a 3.5” rearward shift as the system elevates, experience maximum stability and a smaller footprint in elevation. ActiveHeight is also the only seat elevator that does not lock out suspension at full elevation, so keep pace with a smooth ride at a top speed of 3.2 MPH.
10º | Assists with stand pivot and lateral slide board transfers. Overcome fixed hip angles and maintain a functional line of sight.
20º – 45º | Programmable backrest and legrest angles ensure stability and function as you move into a fully tilted position. The removable knee block maintains positioning throughout.
30º – 45º | Position footplates to the ground negating the need to flip up footplates for safe transfers.
Designed for Independence
Permobil redesigned the knee supports necessary for standing and has created a lightweight, swing-away option that is 75% lighter than the original single-post design. It features improved comfort and allows for a more precision fit thanks to the integrated BOA® Fit System dial for micro adjustments. When you are ready to place or remove the knee supports, the looped release mechanism lets you take care of it independently since it works for a wide variety of hand functions. You’ll love the convenient on-chair storage along the seat rail which keeps the knee supports close at hand, but out of the way when not standing!
