Medical/surgical practice focused on providing the highest level of customer service to their patients seeks experienced medical front office employee. Candidate must have previous experience in patient check-in and registration and be knowledgeable about medical insurance plans. Responsibilities include answering multiple phone lines, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling referrals, filing, addressing routine inquiries, forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel, processing payments, patient registration, electronic charting, data entry of patient information, and assisting where needed within the front office. Data entry skills and general computer/office skills are essential for this position. Successful candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills coupled with strong communication skills to successfully interact with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
