While pursuing dual degrees in physics and mechanical and energy engineering (with a minor in mathematics) I worked on-campus in the physics department of my university as a tutor for two years.

After graduating with both degrees (cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0), I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and earned the Engineer-in-Training license before accepting a position at an engineering internship (which concluded in December).
Currently, I am trying to find a full-time position in the engineering field under a Professional Engineer (PE) so that I can eventually earn my Professional Engineering License.
In the meantime, I would love to tutor physics, engineering, and mathematics to students and other curious people.
The hourly rate of $20 is negotiable if you'd be interested in extended, regular tutoring sessions.
I will travel to your home or another location of your choosing within the metroplex to tutor since I do not have an office.
If you or your child is struggling with a class or concept, chances are the issues stem from how you are thinking about the material. I will help identify your areas of difficulty and enhance your overall understanding, leading to a greater mastery of the subject.
Below is a list subjects I tutored to university students while working on-campus:
classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, modern physics acoustics, waves, celestial motion
algebra, linear algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vector calculus, statistics/probability
thermodynamics, statics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, circuits
