This Gibson SG Special Faded Cherry is a professional-grade electric guitar with a vintage style Faded Cherry finish. It features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, and a 6-string configuration, ideal for right-handed players. Crafted in the United States by Gibson, this SG Special is part of the iconic Gibson guitar SG series, known for its high-quality construction and classic design. The guitar has the original Gibson 490R and 490T pickups with alnico II magnets that sound fantastic. These pickups have also been upgraded by adding the Chrome covers(removable), to give this SG Special guitar a simlar look as the SG Standard and SG Custom which feature the Chrome covered pickups.
This guitar has been played very little, I am the original owner and I purchased it new. It is in great condition, looks good, plays good and sounds good! The guitar is in very good condition with only mild wear, scuffs, pick swirls, etc from normal use. The frets have practially no wear at all and he guitar has never left home, no gigs or practices. As you can tell from the pictures, the guitar has spent most of its life in the case. This guitar comes with a TKL hard shell case for added protection for storing and transporting.
