I am moving to the Austin area and can't bring my sweet Catahoula Mix rescue due to my girlfriends aging (17 yr old) sweet dog who is still kicking, but she is blind with other health issues. It wouldn't be fair to invade her territory this late in her life and I can't find an option in the area. Trust me, I have exhausted all resources and have 4 to 5 people looking to help find either a temporary or permanent solution.

I rescued Modelo in April 2020 during Covid and he is the most loving dog. He get's along well with other dogs. He is up to date on his shots and is chipped. He comes with a large crate, blankets and collar with tags.

It breaks my heart to have to find him a new home so please don't bother with rude comments. I ultimately would like to find him a temporary place, but can't say how long so it could be so a permanent rehoming would be the best for him.

I will be extremely selective to be 1000% certain it is the right fit for both Modelo and the family that wants to welcome him into their home. No Rehoming Fee to the right family. Serious Inquires ONLY please.
