This is a 1941 Ford passenger car frame originally equipped with a V8. It will fit 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947 and 1948 Ford passenger cars. It was 114 inch wheelbase before I removed the axles. It has a serial number and I can provide a bill of sale.
It is rusty, but not rusted through anywhere. It seems very solid and straight. I took some pictures looking along it and you can see both frame rails and all the cross members are flat and parallel.
I started cleaning the rust to find a serial number with rust dissolver. You will see the silver spots where I chemically removed the rust. The frame is very solid.
There were extended bump stops welded at each corner. I cut them off with the bottom of the frame for ease of handling, but they will need to be ground off. The last picture shows one example.
