New, they are around $3000-$3500. I have more than one and got them from a company who planned on using them but no longer needed them. I was going to convert it into something cool, as it has a computer, camera, tmonitor, infrared thermometer, antenna… lots of great technology in a heavy duty form factor. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and have to sell them.
You can convert it (smart home controller, digital menu, equipment monitor…endless possibilities) use it as is, or even part it out.
More information from the manufacturer;
The welloStationX™ is an automated, FDA-cleared, touchless temperature screening kiosk designed to identify individuals with elevated body temperatures. Developed by Dallas-based Wello Inc., it is primarily used in workplaces, hospitals, and high-traffic facilities to help prevent the spread of infections.
Core Functionality
Touchless Screening: Uses a unique combination of infrared optics and sensors to measure temperature from a specific area of the face in about 3 to 5 seconds.
Automated Clearance: If a person's temperature is below the threshold (typically 99.5°F), the station prints an "I’m Wello" identification badge for entry.
Real-time Alerts: When an elevated temperature is detected, the system does not print a badge and instead notifies staff via SMS or email.
Access Control Integration: The kiosk can be linked to existing security systems to automatically disable or enable employee ID badges based on their screening result.
