This is a NEW / NEW-OLD STOCK 3W 60cc Single Cylinder EI Airplane Engine. I believe this is the 60i engine series. It is made in Germany (see sticker on engine) and has the name ‘Heindel – DA’ on the engine casting. The engine has been stored in a smoke-free environment. Also included is the following:
- NEW JOHNSON SMOKE Muffler ($105 Retail)
- NEW EI Unit
- Instructions
- Spark Plug
I bought this engine for a large-scale project that has since gone away. I will give you the URL to Aircraft International website so that you can download more information on the engine.
Check out the photos! 3W makes a hell of an engine and many flyers prefer them over a DA engine.
NOTE 1: Because of the age of this engine, it might require the installation of a carb rebuild kit. Parts available on eBay, hobby stores, manufacturer, etc.
