Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team with at least 2 years driving experience.
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. (OTR)
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Knowledge of tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with freight transportation regulations and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
