The Médallion Tote was first introduced in 2005 Spring/Summer collection. The bag was designed by Karl Lagerfeld and owes its name to the large chunky coin shaped zipper pull Medallion. It became an instant classic thanks to its beautiful quilting, understated design, and subtle CC motif.
The Chanel Medallion tote was discontinued in 2013 but the bag remains a popular collector's item. It's a favorite amongst Stars like Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, Bella Hadid etc
