Hello it’s a brass spent shell casing from a 105MM M14 Howitzer cannon, stamped 1945 on the bottom
I bought as is from an online retailer years ago, I’ve never tried to restore, paint or Apply any kind of chemicals to it.from the research I’ve done, this specific shell was a “blank” charge for training I would assume
