After 3 years as each other's emotional support, I have to give up my beloved Luna for adoption. I am no longer physically or financially capable of caring for her. I put this off as long as I could, so this is very short notice. I need to find her a new home by Tuesday, Dec 30th or she will have to go to a shelter.
Luna is a 4 year old (5 in May), spayed, female boxer. Other than being overdue for her annual vaccinations, Luna is healthy and vigourous. She suffers from extreme separation anxiety and chicken-based foods should be avoided (although she tolerates chicken eggs and organs and other "bird" foods just fine).
I don't know how well she would integrate into a multi-pet home, but everytime we've been to the dog park, and her one extended stay at a pet resort, she has been "the life of the party."
